Is there a Virtual Option for the Santa Monica Classic?

Yes, by popular demand we added a virtual option for the 5K and 10K distances of the Santa Monica classic. Starting Monday, September 13 through Sunday, October 10 you can sign up and complete the 2021 Santa Monica Classic virtually.

What is the deadline to complete my race virtually?

The deadline to receive proof you completed your 5K or 10K is Sunday, October 10.

How do I submit my Virtual results?

You will receive a link in your Confirmation Email with a link and instructions to submit your time and distance with a screenshot of your completed run from a tracking app or GPS watch.

When will I receive my athlete package for my virtual participation?

You will receive it within 6 weeks of submitting your time.

What is included in the 2021 Santa Monica Virtual?

All participants of the 2021 Santa Monica Virtual 5K or 10K will receive the official participant t-shirt, finisher medal, and a branded buff.

How do I sign up for the 2021 Santa Monica Virtual event?

You go to the register page and click “REGISTER” and choose the Virtual Option.

What Bonus Medals will the Virtual Option count towards?

The 2021 Santa Monica Classic Virtual option will count to the 2021 and 2022 Conquer LA Challenge. It will also count to the 2022 Triple 5K Tour of LA.

What if I am already signed up for another event and want to do the Conquer LA Challenge or Triple 5K Tour of LA?

Be sure to register with the same email address and first and last name for all events.

What if I signed up to for the in-real-life Santa Monica Classic and didn’t show up, can I transfer to the virtual event?

Yes, please send us an email at Solutions@mccourtfoundation.org and we will transfer you. You will not receive a refund of price difference if you paid a higher price.

Are virtual runners eligible for awards?

Virtual runners are not eligible for awards.

Online registration for the in-real-life version of the Santa Monica Classic is closed.

Bibs will be available to pick up on Saturday, September 11 and on race day at the Start Line

What is the distance of the course?

There is a 5 kilometer course (approximately 3.1 miles) and a 10 kilometer course (approximately 6.2 miles).

Is there a time limit for the course?

Where do I wear my bib?

Bibs must be fastened to the front of your body on either your shirt or shorts/pants using the provided safety pins.

When and where can I see my race results?

You can find results on our Results page.

Where do I park on race day?

Water will be available on course and water and NUUN will be available post event.

Are skates, bikes, or pets allowed on the course?

No skates, bikes or pets are allowed on the course.

What is your refund policy?

Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. No exceptions.

What safety protools will be taken/implemented?

COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS
We are following all county event health and safety guidelines.
Please stay home if you feel sick.
Per county guidelines, masks are not required but are encouraged to wear in crowded areas
Participants looking for room for social distancing in corrals should plan to start in the back
Hand sanitizing stations will be available on site
Spectators are encouraged to wear masks in crowded areas and space out wherever possible
